DevonWench
I always pop to the market for veg when I'm in town as I find it much cheaper than the supermarkets. Not sussed out which butchers is best yet but as someone else has said look for the ones with a good que! I shall be popping in tomorrow after work. fake
You probably can at Netto but unless they are on special offer at the major supermarkets they are not £5 or £6 per kg. See post 35 as the prices I gave you are from your own links to ASDA and Waitrose, as I said you need to scroll down. Here is the ASDA one, same as the Netto price and not on offer: http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/products/products.jsp?skuId=8303017&departmentid=1214921923769&aisleid=1214921925626&startValue=

Like you, any recommendations from Market regular's greatly appreciated:) Feline x
dagaul101
In this economy it is a worry quality vs price, we don't like things to change so we stick with the supermarkets we are comfortable with, that's the reason why the likes of Morrison can increase their prices and still keep their consumer base, as they know no one likes to mess with their food
BJan
The packs I buy are 7.5kg I think. You are mistaken http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/catalog/sectionpagecontainer.jsp?departmentid=1214921923769 chicken breast fillets are anything up to £13.98 per kg at Asda anything up to £14.98 at Waitrose https://www.waitrosedeliver.com/wdeliver/servlet/JSPs/shop/shopping_fs.jsp?siteCode=WD and I can't find Morrisons prices online and i'm not prepared to register with tesco's just to find their prices Try http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/ - great to compare prices between supermarkets

However they are the lowest quality chicken breasts they sell so are likely to be pumped with water and not very pleasant. Also even at a fiver they are still more expensive than the market
