This may be a chiropractor or a physiotherapist or some other therapist. Just in case anybody isn't familiar with the term "dry needling", I'll explain further what it is. This is where an acupuncture needle is inserted into a tight muscle and turned around. It causes the muscle to "twitch". It feels like the muscle is contracting. Upon removal of the needle from the muscle, the muscle is way more relaxed and has lost its tension. So effective for treating tight muscles. Please note to anyone not familiar with dry needling, this is different to acupuncture where the needle is only superficially inserted. Thanks. Have had about 10 needles in at a time and the relieve is incomparable to any other therapy. Surprised that there wasn't any discussion on this thread.
