been to the glow world fair tonight and me and 3 year old thought it was great and he really enjoyed it, the £2 entry and high security pressence meas that it keeps the usual bad attitude groups of drugies knife stabbings and all that away, and im quite happy paying that bit extra to feel safer, and enjoy the fair, if you think its a rip off dont go, your choice

Thankyou! im planning on taking my 1 year old and 3 year old there next saturday it looked awesome when we drove past it and im a lil excited too to be going my eldest sons nursery gave out an a4 sheet of vouchers for it aswell so that will certainly save us money those prices seem reasonable for this fair and i dont mind paying the money to see my kiddies faces light up and see them enjoy themselves btw has anyone seen the dancing lobsters????

i reckon that the glow world is a bit of a con. a £2 admission charge is daylight robbery. it certainly bumps up the cost of the visit. even the rides are not as good as some of the previous fairs at meadowhall. those glow things are very "trippy". you don't even have to pay the £2 to see the glows because you can see them from the roadside.

Thats fair enough and a good point, you went at night, saw the lights and had the bonus of the security, So maybe charging to get in at night isnt as bad, But i went at 12.30 in the day, in the rain, It was empty, maybe they should has discounted the entrance fee, Theme parks and flamingo land dont charge as much in the winter/autumn months, I have been to alot of bigger and better fairs and not had to pay to get in! the one at graves park last year was massive, better rides and free to get in!. I just think its a rip off being charged to enter a mucky wet car park so you can spend your money there!

As stated I took 2 4yr olds so most of the rides were too big for them, £10 for us to get in £20 for 10 ride tokens, some rides needed 2 tokens per child, £5.00 everytime they wanted to play hook a duck, £13.50 for 3 hotdogs and 2 burgers, then money for the arcade, I have been to quite a few fairs yes! Graves park last year, ecclesfield park every year, there bigger and have more rides, entertainment and games, It was over priced for a small set up

i completely agree, waste of time and money.......

well you know this is robinsons/international funfairs all over making things to be better than what they are you sould go to farrars near the college on granville road free to get in and rides from 1.50 to 2.50 but the rides a lot better and they have security there too and with out the silly lobsters that are quiet frankly crap
