Smoking In Public? Is It A Heath Risk? Or Hype?

Recommended Posts

That's physics 101. Smoke particles pass through the air, and nearby people will inadvertantly inhale them.

Yeah! I have you ever passed a bus blasting fumes all over you? Seen some of the 'First' buses that have come out of retirement??

ppppppppppfffffffffft!!

Smoking in public, or outdoors, isn't dangerous and inhaling a trace of someones smoke won't give you cancer.

Not any more than walking in the sunshine, or past a car exhaust, or eating cured meat, or eating burnt toast, or eating beef, or worrying about minor health risks, or living to an unnaturally old age.

If passive smoking gave everyone cancer then everyone who went to pubs for the last 100 years would be dead by now.
