Magilla
I wondered would you see a doctor or dentist? Thanks in advance. Having had a very similar thing, I went to see my Doctor, who shrugged his shoulders and said I needed to go to the dentist.
kmethley
Definitely your GP, if any other help is needed they will either refer you to your dentist, or to a specialist..
mattchu
I would say both. I have had issues with my jaw and face for quite some time. I initially went to the doctors who diagonised trigeminal neuralgia and prescribed me carbamazpine. A couple of days after seeing the doctors I had an appointment with the dentist who suspected a dysfunctional joint (TMJ). They took impressions of my teeth and made me a splint to wear at night. EventFish
Do your teeth feel like they're meeting differently to normal? Do you grind your teeth when you sleep? Thanks everyone for the advice. I am booked in with the dr on Thursday, so will see what they say. My teeth feel the same really... not noticed anything different. I have been feeling down recently, not sure if its linked, but I would say I don't feel depressed.
