Jessica23
I was one of the younger ones Have you been in The Place, or The York? Most of the students drink at Eurospar anyway. I wonder if students are boycotting pubs in favour of drinking at home then going straight out to clubs these days? I never feel really horribly old in the pub but my friend (late twenties) went to Plug at the weekend. Apparently some wasted youth gave him a big hug and said ''I want to be like you guys in ten years' time.'' ETA That's what you meant by saying they drink at Eurospar, isn't it? Yep, not so many studes in the Tav these days. The York seems a bit souless now. Never been the same since it became that stupid Irish bar in the mid '90's. The Place is a dreadful place! I went to Iceland last year and the prices of alcohol in bars are prohibitive so everyone stays at home, gets tanked on cheap spirits then go out cruising the late bars but only drinking very little. The place doesn't start moving until 2.00am during the Summer. Mind you I expect it's different in Winter!

The Batchelors are playing there soon. Ably supported by Jack's Rake. You should come. In fact you should all come and add +1 to your pub count. Learn to read Jessica. I'm an expert on student drinking habits. They get front loaded by drinking vodka, which is cheap per unit. Then they go out and drink very little. Pausing only to shout their names very loudly outside my house and urinate on my car.
