Well due to the amount of anime I've watched If your looking for anything to watch then I've can give you some recommendations.

This offers open for everyone, I want to make Sheffield a place where we can have fans who have others they can talk with.

On that note, anyone every been to an anime convention?

I definatly recommend Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood. It LOVED the show. I also have met the guy who did Edward Elric's voice actor~ *and had my pic taken with him, me dressed as Ed!*

I've been to Manchester MCM Expo Twice and the Birmingham MCM expo once.

I forgot I had seen the Street Fighter Alpha Movie as well. I need to see Akira one day.

i bought the hyper street fighter 2 ps2 game and as a bonus theres the full street fighter 2 anime film hidden away

akiras ace, thats the original start of the fascination for anime over here

from its wiki page

The film led the way for the growth of popularity of anime outside of Japan. Akira is considered a forerunner of the second wave of anime fandom that began in the early 1990s and has gained a massive cult following since then. Akira has also been cited as a major influence on live-action films ranging from The Matrix[14] to Chronicle.

I watched it some time ago on Netflix, they didn't have the complete series so I'm only about 2/3 was through. Sounds like you had some fun that day haha!

I'm jealous haha :D

I haven't been able to get to any at all. Too poor to get a train...

I'm going to go to as many as I can this year though.

Need to take some pictures and speak with others.

Plus I'm a sucker for the merchandise.

Birmingham MCM Expo is on the 16th and 17th of March. I'm likely going on the 16th only.

Manchester MCM Expo is the 20th July (again it being a day event i'm likely going to be at this one too.)

The expensive ones are London. Don't know if i can afford them (May and October)
