To be fair, I probably look like a tramp next to you I straighten my hair (graduated bob which is less than shoulder length), so doesn't take long with my GHDs. Probably ten mins for daytime look-I spend a bit longer on it if I'm going out on an evening (if I can be bothered!) I only use mascara, a bit of cream blusher and vaseline on my lips during day so make up takes less than five mins to do. BettyBooHoo! Posted March 11, 2011 Share Posted March 11, 2011 Tue, Wed, Thur 05:45 - Alarm goes off, press snooze until I can hold first wee of the day no more! Find way to loo (usually with eyes still shut), have wee. Shower or bath, depending on mood. Go downstairs for cup of tea (that hubby's already made for me bless him) Put me war paint on. Back upstairs, try to wake sleeping boy up. Dry & straighten hair. Back in son's room, try to get him up again (he's only 4 but is like a teenager in the morning!). Make sure son gets dressed & get him juice. Brush teeth time. Rush around like a mad woman getting coats, shoes, bags, dinners gathered etc. Out the door by 07:00 - all in car, hubby in the captain's seat! 07:30 Drop son off at Grandparents. 07:45 Drop me off at work. 08:00 Hubby reaches work...and the day begins! Mon As above but no work for me (hooray!) Get son to nursery for 08:00 Fri, Sat, Sun Get as much shut eye in as I can before small boy decides it's time to wake Mummy up! Stagger to stairlift Go downstairs, Stagger to back door. Unlock door Let pooch onto garden Fight to keep eyes open/ stop shivering at the cold coming in Pooch decides to come back in Lock door Settle pooch back down on her bed Stagger back to stairlift, Travel upstairs and back to bed Fall back asleep till carer arrives. I don't miss my long hair for that exact reason. It looks lovely to see it on others though!
