HeadingNorth
Have you not realised that the people who hate him most are from the section which DID vote for him and haven't come to terms with what he's done He's done exactly what he was saying he would do for months before the election; seek to form a coalition with the largest party in a hung parliament. There is nothing with which they would have to "come to terms."
skinz
I know he's deputy but what if Cameron got bumped off? Where does that leave the Tories?
HeadingNorth
I know he's deputy but what if Cameron got bumped off? Where does that leave the Tories? Prime Ministerial appointments are not like the American President; the Deputy doesn't automatically get the job. There would be another party election to provide another Conservative PM; Clegg would run the country until it was concluded, a matter of a couple of weeks. Bigthumb
I know he's deputy but what if Cameron got bumped off? Where does that leave the Tories? Well if Blair had been bumped off we would have been stuck with Prescott. So whoever it is its a step forward from that.

Grandad.Malky
Imagine what it would be like if we just had a standard Tory government ... he is doing a vital job in diluting their policies Imagine what it would be like if he had the balls to stand up for what he beliefs in.
