goldenfleece Posted October 20, 2005 Author Share Posted October 20, 2005 Yes I know it was Freedom and run by the former owner of PLANET nightclub, but the gay thing failed to happen so as far as I know it was sub-leased to some dance promoters when it became Charles street....not sure who they were, or are......trying to find out who now owns the lease, or sub-lease.....and indeed what it looks like inside, when I saw it in 2001 it was utterly bare inside. faloola Posted October 20, 2005 Share Posted October 20, 2005 I USED TO GO WHEN IT WAS CHARLES STREET. IT SEEMED TO BE A HAVEN FOR THE BLADES AFTER MATCHES ON A SATURDAY. THE OWLS SUPPORTERS WOULD GO IN CASBAH. THEY THEN HAD A BIG FIGHT OUTSIDE EVERYWEEK AT KICK OUT TIME! JUST BE AWARE THAT IF IT OPENS UP AGAIN THE BLADES MAY JUST REASSUME THAT AS THEIR PAD.
