warrior8
My parents are flying to Portugal next week and are going self catering. They would like to take some food with them but we are wondering what restrictions might be in place. I have had a look on the net but can't seem to find the definitive answer as of 2011. I can only find info from 2007 re. the foot and mouth outbreak which restricted meat and dairy etc. Thanks
HeadingNorth
If you're booked with a travel agent, they should be able to tell you. I'm afraid I don't know what (if any) restrictions apply to Portugal. A call to the Portuguese embassy would get an answer, but I suspect there must be easier ways. Flowersfade
Most UK foodstuffs are found fairly easily abroad in my experience.
