Tillymint
They have a 2 for £5.50 at the Hammer and Pincers on Ringinglow Road. Haven't been, so can't say whether it's any good. http://www.thehammerandpincers.co.uk/pdf/2for5-50pounds.pdf
Andy C
Castle Inn at Bradway does fish & chips at 2 meals for a fiver on Fridays. They also do pie and peas for £1.50 each on quiz night (Wednesday). They also do some two meals for a tenner offers - curry on Tuesdays and carvery on Sundays. Ensure you aren't expecting anything too fancy for those prices though.. Cynic
There is no reason that meals at this price won't be ok. Some pubs do this type of deal just to get you in and have a few drinks. The margin on the food is probably 0 but on the drinks it is very good.
Pug206
IMO whenever ive visited pubs that offer two meals for so many pounds ive always found the food terrible i believe when it comes to food, you get what you pay for.
