donkey
Donkey, your opinion to my post please. I gave it. You think all starving people in the third world are deliberately perpetuating their dire circumsrances in the hope of getting charity. I don't think that because it is a clearly dodgy and flawed argument on two levels. Firstly, because if they were getting sufficient charity mto become dependent on, they wouldn't be dying of starvation, and secondly, because it rests on the assupmtion that they are somehow fundamentally different from us. eg 'lazy' and 'feckless' etc.
