I'm Not Giving Comic Relief Any Of My Money

Recommended Posts

The BBC run a lot of campaigns to highlight a lot of different health issues - for example the recent mental health campaign. There is also a weekly charity appeal on Radio 4 (not very excitingly called The Radio 4 Appeal) which covers many health charities catering to such diverse ailments as Prostate Cancer, Meningitis, Stammering, Parkinsons, Ovarian Cancer, Mental Health, Rheumatoid Arthritis etc. etc.

But which health issue do they give the most publicity to?

I didn't introduce race into the topic, it is a typical ploy of certain memebrs when the going gets tough.

In the 17th century the cry wasn't 'racist' if they didn't like someone back then it was 'He/she's a witch'.

well i think we could arrange a forum ducking meet?

unofficial of course

There are some miserable sods on here. Children In Need is for children in the UK and to be fair a lot of it goes on what Africans would regard as luxuries.

Comic relief goes to much more serious life-saving causes. We have been exploiting Africa for hundreds of years and we still do in many ways. It does no harm to give something back and have a good night's entertainment into the bargain.
