Pink2Bubble
SFFC v Queens Ground Concord Park (pitch should be ok now) KO 11am Our last game on Concord as we look to move next season. We face Queens Ground after a 2-2 draw last time in Walkley we will be looking to finish our chances this weekend. SFFC spent the majority of the game in Queens half 2 weeks back but just couldnt put away and had to rely on a last minute goal from Liam Wales to secure a point after Queens had hit on the counter twice. The 3 remaining games will all be away from home. Looking to leave Concord with a big win! Come on!!

CorkerSWFC
Sheffield Forum 4 - 1 Queens Ground: Sheffield Forum were up against Queens Ground for the second time in a fortnight after drawing 2-2 in there previous encounter. The game was switched to Parson cross as the pitch at Concord was deemed unfit. The game itself started at a lively pace and within two minutes Forum found themselves 1-0 up through Liam Wales. The striker running onto a through ball, finished with a plom giving the keeper no chance. Forum found themselves on the front foot for the majority of the first half and found another goal again through Wales. The Queens ground defense were struggling with the lively front two of Middlebrook and Wales and got caught out on several occasions. While the Forum midfield and defense seemed to be coping comfortably with any threat from there opposition. Towards the end of the first half Queens Ground did find a bit of pressure and through a mistake from the Forum defense, found a way back into the game, a mis-communication found the Queens striker clean through and he made no mistake in finishing from ten yards. HALF TIME: Sheffield Forum 2 - 1 Queens Ground: The second half saw Forum take the advantage and use the wind to good effect, clipping balls into both channels pulling there defenders one way then the other, while Hume and Neate were solid in the centre giving the away side no chance of getting through the centre. As the game progressed Forum seemed to get more and more comfortable and it was almost inevitable when Wales bagged his hat trick. A shot he simply could not miss from half a yard out giving the striker his fifth goal in three games. Queens Ground offered nothing in reply in what turned out to be a stroll towards the end of the game for the home side. The Forum defense stood up to anything which was thrown at them by Queens and eventually sealed it with a goal from Daniel Sheedy. After Wales had hit the bar, Sheedy showed his awareness and notched the fourth Forum goal knocking any stuffing that Queens ground had left out of them. A good performance from Sheffield Forum and also a little note on the referee (first class).
