max
Then you need to show me the thread. Yes Jesus was against hypocrisy, he also said not to take vengeance, he even did away with the OT law of an eye for an eye and said to turn the other cheek, and he taught forgiveness like he did on the cross, plus as I already said killing i.e. stoning is out. Here's the other thread where you made the same, mistaken, point: other thread How did Jesus do away with the OT laws, was he a lawmaker or a prophet? flamingjimmy
Is this really what the bible teaches? “‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads." Leviticus 20:

sccsux
So how do you square stoning with the teaching not to kill? Stoning - given the OK in the OT. Ten commandments - given in the OT.

After the Ten Commandments were given the Jews turned to Hellenism and this is what we are seeing.

Then you were wrong to say what you did. Jesus is the Great High Priest and yes he does make the law.

But homosexuality was tolerated in most of the hellenic world and even encouraged in some city states. So that can't be where it came from.
