Any airgunners on here??

Recommended Posts

a relative has a pre charged theoben which is superb, .177 for target shooting, its 100% accurate to 35yards on a f.a.c at about 18-20ft/lbs. has a little 9 shot mag which you click in place and then use a bolt type action to set up each shot. no recoil, just a nice crack from silencer.

I have a Sharp Innova .177. Lovely rifle - very light, very accurate and power up to the legal limit. Recently had it serviced and it shoots beautifully.

Also a Webley Senior (also .177) early model in its own original case.

Mod Note

Posts have been removed for discussing buying and selling of weapons.

Please note this is specifically forbidden on this forum, discuss the weapons by all means but no buying or selling.

Please define weapons.

Obviously this thread is about air guns but air guns are tools to any pest controller. In a similar way my hammer may be classed as a weapon.

Did someone barge in on an air gun thread offering to sell knives or nailed baseball bats?.

Just a quick 'hello' to any airgunners on here, wether it be field or target shooters!!

I've owned several of the Webley pistols and the odd Webley hawk Mk II back in the day. I sold them all due to not driving and having nowhere to use them these days :s

You're on a hiding to nowt mate, none airgunners are similar in many ways to none smokers and alcohol abstainers, in that if they don't do it, they don't want to understand it as it must be wrong.

But to be fair, there is nothing to stop a 15 year old chav stating that they are 18 and buying privately on line. There are specialist airgun forums where their 'term and conditions of use', legally protect them from litigation if the worst happens.

So for once I have to agree with the mods, did I really say that? :hihi:

Our definition of weapons includes amongst other things, any kind of gun.

Please respect the requests of the forum moderating team if you wish the thread to remain open.

Thank you.

Dont think you can beat the weihrauch rifles for all round accuracy and durability to be fair. I have the HW100 pcp and Hw 80 springer. Having said that, they are a little on the heavy side and are neglected nowadays as i use the FX Verminator quite a lot. The verminator is impressively accurate and light.....can put pellet on top of pellet into the targets at 40yds. (great for ratting too with a red light on top!!)

My permissions are no more,(except over in Ireland), due to work commitments, but if anyone needs a hand or some company then please get in touch and if i am around I am always willing to oblige.:)

Showing your age Chris, I used to go there to. ;)

Me too! once shot for Yorkshire there , if i remember rightly. Also used to shoot on the ranges at the army place on Barnsley Rd. Used to be a lovely couple that organised and ran the club but cant for the life of me remember their names.
