Would you go to a tabloid about this?

The school publishes it's uniform policy online:

http://www.birleycc.sheffield.sch.uk/docs/uniformorder.pdf

and on page 4 it says:

The spirit of the school dress code is formality rather than fashion.

It is not possible to list all unacceptable items, as fashion constantly changes.

Plain, formal, full length black trousers

but it doesn't say Skanky faded Nike air tracky bottoms

Note how the star didn't quote this in their article!

They are not school trousers that's my point, and the article doesn't actually admit that. The deputy saying well they are black doesn't mean he/she was talking about the trousers that the kids are expected to wear. The quote does end abruptly.

Yeah, severd him right Though i'd of worn cooler Trakkies than that ... say Adidas Chilles'!

Come on... Tracksuit bottoms are not suitable for school, whether photo day or not.

Those particular ones in the star pic are just plain rough.

Wearing of smart clothes should be something that is expected in the real world. Would that kid have turned up to a job interview in tracksuit bottoms? Probably...and that is what is wrong with the world:)

Yeah ... at least wear Adidas Chilles'!!
