Reducing Gas Bill

my gas bill for 3 month [90 day] billing period was averaging around $100.

 

i looked at my gas boiler, it was on high, so i turned it down to vaccation.

 

result, my recent bill was $49, less than half my previous bill.

 

downside, my previous hot showers are now warm + short.

 

other steps i took,

 

when i boil my rice, i boil water and turn gas off,letting cook slowly in heat.

 

necessity is the mother of invention.

Try microwaveable rice, 4mins and done.
