Andy Posted March 24, 2011 Share Posted March 24, 2011 By the way, technically, a cheque never clears, and can be bounced at any time. We only use cheques to pay the milkman now. This used to be the case but the rules changed a couple of years ago. After day 6, it can only be returned unpaid if fraud has been committed and the payee was a party to the fraud.
