Quentin to film remake of 'Armageddon' on Crookes!

Recommended Posts

You are mistaken, it's not a remake of Armageddon. Mr Tarantino has moved into the porn business and is currently making plans to film Arma-get-it-on in Sheffield as he has heard about our great city's reputation and the notorious seedy brothels frequented by the majority of its citizens.

What ... 'Pimp Fiction' ?

I walked past the aforesaid patch of ground this morning and noticed that there was a small box with a mysterious item in that looked like it might have a plug. I was unaware at the time that Quentin had been spotted in the vicinity. Do you think he might have left some of his movie making paraphernalia behind ?

Flowers looked nice too:)

Not too sure about the electric socket ... it seems to have been covered up with fibreglass craters now.

Did you notice that the chip shop and the hairdressers (across the road) are subtly obscured by massive hoardings depicting outer space type themes ... stars and suchlike and a bluescreen is covering Cooplands the bakers?

The newsagent tells me that Bruce Willis went into his shop to buy a 'lucky dip' this morning, the decorating shop has run out of blue paint too.

Crookes allotment societys (information website) has mysteriously crashed!

Things certainly seem to be kicking off!:confused:

I'd only popped out to get a lucky dip. Gutted I missed Bruce Willis. No-one wears a vest like Bruce !

I'm recovering from flu and am still a bit befuddled, so I didn't notice the blue screen or anything else like that. Crookes seemed like its normal sleepy self.

oh except for a mahoooosive industrial generator near St Luke's shop., but I thought that it might be something to do with the police helicopter;)

Oooh ... I noticed that too! It's not a generator for the police helicopter, that much I'm sure. The Police helicopter (due to cutbacks) is now powered by Chinese lanterns.

The 'generator' looks rather suspiciously like a storage facility for fibreglass asteroids. Go to this website Fibreglassasteroidstorage facilitiesareus ... see what I mean?

Are residents of Crookes at risks from stray asteroids do you think ?

There are a LOT of hills around them parts. Danger of any fibreglass asteroid escaping from their facility and rolling over any unsuspecting residents might be greater than those Hollywood types have thought about as they're not used to our hills.

Perhaps that's why Bruce was about. He might be the safety hunk.

Please advise if you think that this is viable I might have to go and lie down on a hill and pray for a stray asteroid:love:

Filming to start soon I think!

On returning from a weekend away, I've just discovered a letter through the letterbox from the Water Authority.

It says that due to impending maintainence in my area, I may find myself (and surrounding area without water for a while.

Well. they don't fool me! ... It's pretty darn obvious that Quentin has given them a backhander to turn the water off! (Most probably a mention in the credits at the end of the film too!) :suspect:

This is obviously to make the plot of land at the top of Cobden View road as arid as possible, enabling it to resemble the surface of a huge asteroid hurtling through space to its devastating impact with planet Earth.

Just seen some little kids in the area Kicking a football around! They've obviously been hired by Mr T to kick fibreglass asteroids around when filming starts and are just practising without attracting attention. (Apart from wily old me of course)

I also suspect (with the kids only being about 5 years old), they may have been employed to pick all the daffodils on aforementioned plot of land.

These of course would not look at all conducive to the exploding surface of the errant asteroid. Keener eyed movie buffs may well spot this and, as with all Quentin films ... realism is the keyword!

I just got back from an audition to play an astronaught boxer who owes money to a gangster and has a secret crush on the mission leader's daughter. It was all going well until the scene where I was supposed to say "five dollar shake?" and sound suprised. Apparently Quentin hasn't been in a McD's over here yet. Anyone else had an auditon yet?

Hmm ... Those sort of 'auditions' are mainly banned over here! :suspect: ... especially in Crookes - maybe that's why Bruce has been roped in?

It may be fair to say that anyone over here who patronises McD's could easily get a bit part as a piece of space debris though ... maybe a Mc Meteorite? :P
