Why do we sexualise something if it then offends us?

Recommended Posts

Why does this happen in almost every modern day society?

First we sexualise something that isn't sexual, then we feel awkward towards it because we associate sex with it, then we condemn the sight of it because it's obscene.

Could it be a form of mental illness?

Of course.

Public nudity is something I personally feel awkward towards.

Breast feeding in public is frowned upon by some people.

The mention of a childs pamper party's is often branded unacceptable on SF is it not?

There's a few but there's many more I could mention.
