gnvqsos
The Halifax actually use Halifax staff for their ads. Yeah but the roles are taken by managers who want to appear on tv
MonkeyLover
It's not just the adverts too................. it never ceases to amaze me to see women dressed up to the nines and prancing around in 6-inch stilletto's in their own homes. Jim Hardie
why are they so perfect and skinny and rich and have loads going for them the media really do not show things in a true light do they Because it sells. Do you remember the M & S campaign that showed a slightly portly lady waving her arms around on a hillside? It was a flop. They are now back to the perfect people with just a nod to the older generation in the shape of a soft focussed Twiggy.
Grandad.Malky
Like the ones for women’s oversized clothes ………. Available in sizes 12 -32 ………. Modelled by women size 32, I don’t think so.
Mecky
why are they so perfect and skinny and rich and have loads going for them the media really do not show things in a true light do they Because if used fat, ugly mingers it would be unlikely that people would buy the product. Marketing is all about hype and convincing people they need something they don't; they want to show off to their advantage. That's why when you see a bathroom advertised in the magazine looking somewhat palatial, and you get the same bathroom in your crappy 2 bed council house, it doesn't look the same. Proximus
Good marketing has to be aspirational, clever marketing has to be inspirational. Adverts that can tie the two together are a winning mix. People don't aspire to negative ideals.
XXTickerXX
If you think people actually look like they do in adverts in real life think again.Reality is distorted. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hibyAJOSW8U
