Plug
Shuffle presents Plump DJs + Drumattic Twins Tickets £5 http://www.the-plug.com/events-and-tickets/shuffle/shuffle-presents-plump-djs http://www.plumpdjs.co.uk/ http://www.myspace.com/plumpdjs http://www.myspace.com/drumattictwins Moving into April and we're certainly no fools.... First up on Saturday 2nd, for a brand new month of super hot Saturday nights at Shuffle, is a double header of wonderful breaksy goodness. We love them, you love them, it's the PLUMP DJs. Joining them is the Drumattic Twins. Lee Rous and Andy Gardner make up the Plump DJs. They’ve been producing and DJing a cross between house and breaks and gathering many awards on the way since their debut release ‘Remember My Name' way back in 1999. Their sound has been ever evolving over the last 10 years, from purist breaks to a more 4/4 friendly cross over of chopped beats and VERY heavy bass. Check ‘Electric Disco' (remixed by Sheffield legend D.Ramirez) for a taster of their newer gear. Their DJ sets are certainly a thing of beauty too, taking the full-on energy of their productions and squeezing it all into a 2 hour set isn't easy but the boys pull if off time and time again. The reason we keep having them back is a simple one. They rock our world’s every single time, and judging by how many people keep asking when they’re back they rock yours too. If you've not caught the Plumps at Shuffle yet, where have you been? No excuses, it's always a tip top night. Do it. The Live room it’s FLOORFILLERS bringing its Saturday night magic into the venue for more weekend escapism.Ollie Hayes (Hallam FM) needs no introduction - at Shuffle he will be dropping the biggest dance anthems selected from the best years of your life, mashed up to the bangers of now: Dizzee meets Pendulum, Deadmau5 rubs up to David Guetta, whilst Calvin breaks down into Faithless, Darude and the Prodigy. In earth we have the rapidly expanding RnB sessions with Becky Hayes & LJ Freeman, expect evertything from the old school vibes of Black Street and R Kelly to modern day grooves from Labyrinth to Gyptian to Nicki Minaj
