sleepercreep Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 on the news this evening its saying radio active particals are falling from the sky that has come from japan...and its raining now..will this do any harm to me taking my dog for a walk or should i stay in doors till it goes??:suspect:also will it affect me while i sleep to night does any one know the side effects.hair loss,teeth falling out or summat like that... Right now sitting reading this thread their are hundreds of thousands of particles of radiation flying through your body, but they do not posse much of a risk to you, it only takes one radioactive particle!. If these particles are falling on Sheffield at the moment, then there is little you can do about it, its not going to go away over night, if anything it will just get worse. Very much doubt it, what happened in Japan was no where near as bad as the atomic disaster at Chernobyl in 1986, and the Ukraine is a lot nearer to the UK then Japan is.
