markmobbs
Hi, Played a non-league 5-a-side thing every week down in London for 4 years, and also in a league for around 8 months 5-a-side too. Back in Sheffield now, and would like to play - ideally average ability, competitive football but not necessarily league. Don't want to be travelling out to Doncaster / Chesterfield etc - somewhere close to city centre, uni pitches is perfect. Please send me a message if you have any space, either regular slots or just fill-ins. mark.a.mobbs@gmail.com Thanks, Mark
nstewart69
For the last 15 years or more, a group of locals have played 5/6 a side football at Paces and now more recently Ecclesfield School in the Sports Hall. We play Friday evening at 7.30 for an hour, at a cost of £3 per person. We would welcome any players interested from 14 upwards to whatever age (three of us are +50) to ensure we can keep this going. You don't have to be Pele, just capable and more importantly to enjoy it in a not too serious environment. We have a laugh and it keeps us fit - you will know you have played for an hour when you have done. Currently we are taking a short two week break but we will resume again on Friday 9th August at Ecclesfield School - we play every week then except for bank holidays and Xmas. If you are interested and can attend each week, then reply via the forum and we can discuss - we need 4 or 5 players who will play regularly. LLSheffield
Hi everyone, There's a brand new Monday night 5 a side league starting at Parkwood Academy 7pm - 9pm. Matches will be played on the brand new 3G astro-turf and run for 30 mins and the cost is just £25 per week (Registration is FREE). The league will run all year around apart from Bank Holidays, with trophies and medals being awarded for the top 2 teams in each division as well as the wooden spoon award for the team which finishes bottom. We will only be using the top referees and the league enforces the strictest disciplinary system in Europe so needless to say we are only looking for teams that are interested in a fun but competitive 5 a side league! For more information you can call Darren on 07854 290470 or alternatively you can visit the Leisure Leagues website and click on Sheffield 5 a side link. You can also join online if you wish and I will call you shortly after to confirm your FREE registration into the Monday night league.
