steelerman Posted March 31, 2011 Share Posted March 31, 2011 went for a meal to the peacock saturday,ordered drinks then told waitress i was on a gluten free diet and what could i have from the menu,she came back to tell me that the chef could not guarantee anything on the menu was gluten free,so we walked out and went to the angel holmesfield where we got a warm welcome and plenty of gluten free options,the peacock used to be packed on a weekend but it was vitually empty,not surprised with that attitude. It keeps changing manager but to no avail...I think the last I heard they admitted having the food brought in frozen and then just heated onsite.
