Hope this helps Cheers. It does thanks. I rang Hillsborough, again, a moment ago, and they have little knowledge of what’s happening. Their website is not much better than useless ( don’t tell them LOL), doesn’t seem to have been updated in donkeys years. I’ll check out Ponds Forge. Do you know when they moved there ? ---------- Post added 01-12-2017 at 18:22 ---------- Hi as far as I’m aware they are still active, although no longer run by the belated Sensi Barry Nash (RIP) as far as I know Sensi Steve Marshall is now running the club from Ponds Forge sports centre. titanzues
Try hillboro leisure centre then, he had a club at Southey green community centre, then moved to ponds forge and Hillsboro, since his passing they might have stopped training at ponds forge or may have even closed the club, I heard his wife Rita had taken over the paperwork side of things. If your struggling to find anything out please PM me I know a few people in the industry I could ask around if needed
Cyclone
Sheffield University Jitsu Club Goodwin Sports Centre Activity Room 2 Open to everyone over 18 (not just students) Training Wed 2000 - 2200 Thu 2000 - 2200 Sat 1100 - 1300 Membership £5 Annual Insurance £25 Sessions £3.00 (I think, the students deal with money) TJF Jitsu Which means a strong emphasis on falling, throwing and defences from weapon scenarios, also includes Judo style groundwork, join locks and a small amount of striking. TJF Info http://www.jitsufoundation.org/JuJitsu.asp?Page=What_is_jujitsu Sheffield Uni Club Info http://jitsu.union.shef.ac.uk/ I should update this, it's been 6 years. Training is now Monday and Thursday at 2000 - 2200, same location, activity room 1 now. There's also a town+junior club on Wed and Sat at Hillsborough bowling pavilion, 1830 - 2030 (juniors leave at 2000 if they wish). Costs about the same, might be £3.50 now, for 2 hours. Comedy video (comedy because it's a very 'arty' video, and shows nothing of the more useful side of jitsu).
