alchresearch
While having a mooch around the Cheshire police website I found this interesting FOI report: http://www.cheshire.police.uk/advice--information/freedom-of-information/disclosure-log/2010/12/request-2848---rp.aspx It details accidents in police station car parks and makes very interesting reading ! Mr Prime
Zzz, Police station car parks are often very crowded with a lot of vehicles moving around at speed.
alchresearch
But £12,000 on repairs last year. Does that not tell you that something needs to be done? There's all this moaning about cuts, but they wouldn't be half as bad if there wasn't so much waste and sloppiness.

Rupert_Baehr
Or does it tell you that even minor repairs are expensive?
Mr Prime
Perhaps they need speed cameras then if they're accident hotspots. I doubt you are being serious but it's hard to tell with this forum. They would not break the speed limit within the car park. Perhaps you or others should suggest what is to be done to the Chief Constable?

Perhaps you or others should suggest what is to be done to the Chief Constable? Set a speed limit in their car parks of 5mph. Give them a 10% margin, have to be fair. Anybody doing more than 5.5mph gets 3 points and a £60 fine or a speed awareness course. It will be good for the mobile speed van team because they only have to nip back into the cafeteria for coffee and donuts.

Yes let's restrict the Police even more then moan when they don't arrive fast enough. Out of interest are you or anyone else on this thread the people who moan that the Police are allowed to park their cars anywhere and think they should have the same restrictions as everyone else? Safety first. These police carparks are accident blackspots.
