Dangerous cyclists

Recommended Posts

Not stupid like you but unacustomed to such signs especialy from most third world countries.

What are you actually trying to claim right now?

Is it that cyclists are dangerous because motorists might not understand road signs?

So you've been to all these countries and seen these signs and they're all the same as the UK.

French, Urdu and Arabic (which is what Squiggs mentioned) are not countries.

His very straightforward point was not that the signage is universal but that the language is universal, ie the pictograms used are chosen specifically because they will convey the meaning regardless of the viewer's language or country of origin.

No not at all, Squiggs (PBUH) claims all foriegners know what our road signs mean.

And "Pigs Might Fly" your optimism goes further than Squiggs stupidity.

Once again, to Bassman and Dawny who are so far off the original topic of a "causing death by dangerous cycling" private members' bill it is ludicrous...

HOW WILL MAKING CYCLISTS TAKE A PROFICIENCY TEST IMPROVE THE ROADCRAFT OF FOREIGN NON-CYCLING VISITORS TO THIS COUNTRY?

You should see the driving test for women in Cyprus, you've got to be able to drive whilst using a mobile phone, breast feeding you baby and have one hand dangling out of the window all whilst tailgating, they're truly amazing.

Is it just female cypriots you've now decided to pick on Bassman?

So in this case you're happy to go off topic, so whilst were off topic, what do you expect a cyclist to do when approaching a parked vehicle in their lane.

a) go around it

b) cycle into it

c) stop and wait

d) fly over it

It seems you might be on shaky ground here. The pictograms might be obvious to most people, but they seem to defeat Bassman & Dawny.:D

Hmmm, "Bassman & Dawny" - The Dynamic Duo, sent to earth to protect motorists in their wimpy metal cages from the ravaging hordes of cyclists with their soft but deadly fleshy exteriors.
