Fudbeer
Sound interesting and if it goes through you gotta ask if they re-brand as Virgin will they have 2 gyms so close? Can see arguments for both options. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/city-news/2011/04/27/virgin-active-to-nearly-double-uk-gym-numbers-after-agreeing-esporta-deal-115875-23088851/
Suffragette1
Sadly the Sheffield Esporta doesn't have squash courts, which many of the other clubs in the franchise do have. That would have tipped them in my favour for me. As far as I'm aware, the Esporta club will be rebranded and will undergo a major makeover to make it as similar as possible to the Virgin one. Bulgarian
I've been a member of both, and i prefered Virgin, the pool and steam room etc. was better, there were more machines (and other facilities) and I found the atmosphere to be generally more welcoming. Esporta reminded me of a posh country club where people go for lunch rather than a gym.
kinkyKat
really annoyed i joined Virgin as they said I could use Esporta, which is not the case and wont be, as Esporta is going to become the premier club, cancelled Virgin and joined Esporta its great.
