Unemployment down

Recommended Posts

As the civil servants who collate this garbage, haven't got a clue as to how many people live in the UK, do you really take any notice of this?

TSK, didn't you know it is done purely for political gain through persauding public opinion? (hype)

Actually this was the most important bit of the whole report

" the number people in employment rose by 143,000 to 29.23 million, compared with a pre-recession peak of 29.56 million recorded for the three months to the end of May 2008"

It seems that the number of people actually working is only 300,000 below the highest figure previously recorded. They can't all be working in Santa's Grotto.

Once someone is on a work placement (not a job. Just a placement to get experience which can last up to 3 months), they are taken off the unemployed list. The government have been using similar tactics for years to fiddle the figures.

Lets see where we are in a couple of months.

One swallow doesn't make a spring. This is probably a blip before Double dip Dave and Lapdog get on with the Cons do best, causing uemployment!

But according to the BBCs graph unemployment actually increased by around half a million during Labour's term in office. It shows unemployment falling before they came into office in 1997 but increasing when they left office in 2010, so how do you explain that?

but you must admit you are no good at predictions when it comes to the government are you.

When it all goes belly-up in 6 months, a re-invigorated Labour party would then be in a very strong position to win an outright majority,

that was over 11 months ago back on 10-05-2010 and labour are no more re-invigorated than before the election what with little ed as the new leader.

labour picked the wrong brother.

Oh right, why doesn't Mr Forehead call an election then and win outright?
