Offending someone who's Grammar is bad. is it an- Ism?

You swapped the a for an, unfortunately you persisted the reffering which should of course be referring. ;)

not sure if it's an -ism or not. but 'offending' them is not too great either way.

 

pointing it out to them is another thing. when done right it can be a learning experience. otherwise...

then there are times when it's just petty nitpicking, usually to mask one's own failing in reasoning. that's just sad.
