Akposodje Posted April 18, 2011 Share Posted April 18, 2011 I know not strictly Sheffield but in the sort of outlying areas. Went to Holmfirth yesterday to see The Saw Doctors at the Picturedome. Concert was amazing. We decided to have a cheeky tea time session and discovered The Nook - what an amazing pub. It is a Brewhouse and had 7 of their own beers on. Been a few times, took the caravan and stayed a couple of nights last time to take in all the local hostelries!! Even the Fish and chip shop is licensed to serve alcohol!! stonecircle Posted April 19, 2011 Share Posted April 19, 2011 The campsite is nice, I was a bit hacked off that the only space left didn't give us space to even get the porch awning up. The excuse being the people to the left have pitched in the wrong place. Quite a hike into town though, far more than a mile!
