In the old days when I was a lad the motorbikes I bought and sold for peanuts then are worth a fortune now a list of the ones sold that I can remember,

1959 Puch Alpine scooter free sold for £6 and some rolling stones records.

lambretta ld paid £2 sold it for £15 to a mate,

lambretta tv 175 bought from a guy who live in the sally army for £10 sold it for £15

one of many BSA bantams I can remember was a 125 cc bought for a 1£ of a mate sold to a guy from London for £25 big money in them days.

four or five James two strokes, Franny Barnett's had a load of them

one of the best bikes I had was a Norton big 4 that had a jap v twin 700cc engine fitted into it, that thing went like stink paid £25 for it from VS bentleys on Abbeydale sold it for £100 and a Panther 100 in part chop,

also a Norton es2 found in a shed at the bottom of a house we moved into did that one up and sold it for £200 one would be worth £5,000 + now days

BSA barcuda250cc nice bike bought as a basket case for £15 never sold that one becourse I nearly killed my self on that one,

BSA Begal little 75cc four stroke thing

Royal Enfield turbow twin villiers 2 stroke sold that one for £500

Greaves scotch 250cc scrambler sold that for £400

1960 Triumph t110 bought as a box of bits for £100 sold it after weeks of rebuilding work for £1,200

Dot scrambler 250cc

Greaves 250cc 4t villiers twin road bike loved that bike bought for £20 of a mate again, had that bike for years got pestered in to selling it for £1000 wish I still had it now,

I could go on for ever but thinking back I probably got the going price at the time,

:hihi: no its not a test and i dont have a clue i would have thought due to size it would be no more than sumat like 125 175 Way too small for Crusader well too narrow.

Just checked quickly on Plover i dont think its that well i cant find one with those brackets on top and double stays also that rim down centre.Unless you got a link that shows one ill have another search later on when back online lol.

By the way vintagebikes.co.uk could not ID it lol.
