Andy C
Andy, Will you be doing a pub by pub beer list with details of beer strengths like last year? We're intending getting the train into Dore early Saturday Afternoon, but we'll probably only make about 50% of the pubs so we want to make sure we get the ones with beers that we like. It's a great idea and thanks for keeping us updated with these events, it is appreciated. Regards Doom A beer list will be published on the website once all the pubs have confirmed what beers they are having (some are being a bit last minute). Here is what I know so far, Jolly Farmer, Devonshire Arms and Miners Arms haven't advised on their beer range as yet and the Coach & Horses have advised breweries but not beers. Doom
It looks like The Castle will be on our hit list again, The Tangled Up IPA looks right up our street.....A strong IPA. I've also enjoyed a few Spire beers in the past, so the Fleur De Lys and Cross Scythes will probably get a visit. Regards Doom

Andy C
is this event child friendly? Do keep in mind the event is a beer festival based in pubs and a brewery so it isn't specifically designed as a family event - however the majority of the venues do allow children and all have outdoor areas. Doom
We had a cracking day out with some really good beers, definately a better selection than last year. I think we peaked at the Fleur De Lys and Cross Scythes, where both the Spire Enigma (6.4 American Pale Ale) and Blue Monkey Ape Ale (5.4 Pale Ale) were excellent. Unfortunately because of the change in timings to the number 3 bus, we were knocked off schedule and only got food down at Barlow Brewery and didn't get as long as we would have liked at The Coach & Horses, but my liver doesn't think that was such a bad thing. We finished the evening at the Devonshire in Dore watching the football. It's not a bad old life, good beers all day, watching some cricket at Abbeydale in the Afternoon and Football at night. Thanks to the organisers for arranging it all.....Same time next year? Regards Doom
