We all take words for granted, so we have scoured the UK, and are bringing you a collection of acts that use words for comedy, influence and to create beauty. Acts include: ------ MUSA OKWONGA Musa Okwonga is a poet, football writer, and musician. A true renaissance man! A regular contributor to... BBC World Service, the New York Times and The Independent, as well as having performed at several festivals such as Glastonbury, and Latitude, as well as for EU ministers Musa brings his critically acclaimed poetry to Club 197. Musa will be fresh from the launch of his eagerly anticipated new music project “The King’s Will” – a fully-animated album of poetry and electronica, or “poetronica” created in collaboration with acclaimed producer Giles Hayter. “At the forefront of a generation of new spoken word artists” - Channel 4's 4Talent “Amazing” - Scroobius Pip “London’s hottest new spoken word talent” - The Times “Exceptional talent…Quality control thermostat set permanently to ‘genius’” - Attitude magazine ------ PETER ANTONIOU Peter Antoniou is a mind reader, it just that simple really!
