TheBlueDragon
Hi people, My motability car is peeing diesel but the vauxhall service centre is closed till tuesday. I don't have any cash so can't afford to take it to any other garage so I don't know what to do. Will a fuel leak be covered by the breakdown cover? HeadingNorth
Have you tried ringing the Motability direct number for advice? I'm all but certain that they will cover you one way or another, and get a car to you if you need it. I just don't know if going through the RAC route is the correct method. HeadingNorth
In that case, if it were us, I'd be ringing the RAC number to tell them about the problem, and hope that gets it sorted.
TheBlueDragon
Just called RAC they are sending someone. Just got to wait 2 to 3 hours So sorted now, thanks for your help. I'd totally forgot who the breakdown cover was with
medusa
If in doubt, call the RAC for anything like this in future. They have a special contract with Motability car users and they understand that the Motability users may be less able to do even simple things to help their car out, depending on their disabilities. Of course this sort of thing is covered by their breakdown cover- it's not safe to use a car with a fuel leak and diesel on the road is a major cause of crashes and fatalities for bikers who lose grip on diesel spills.
