The migration of global populations has been in a constant state of flux for thousands of years, settlers didn't arrive here from Africa, or anywhere else with the intention of colonising the 'British Isles', it was just a lump of rock that they stopped at many generations after leaving their native lands, those who tried to explore further probably drowned in the Atlantic.
