Dog attacks on kids, why's it always a Staffy?

Recommended Posts

We used to have one AND a Yorkshire Terrier who bullied him and was the boss. None of us are, or were, chav scum and the dog was well socialised and a real softy. I would be more interested in this debate if it was backed by stats and real findings other than an article from some braindead rag.

Ginger people are short tempered.

people wearing glasses are clever.

Fat people are greedy.

Thin people are fit.

Black people are all super singers.

Old people can't use computers.

Young people are lazy.

Foreigners are not to be trusted.

All russians are alcoholic.

Irish people are thick.

Yorkshiremen are tight.

Please add some more generalisations and stereotypes to the list

SORRY but this post sums up the Sheffield Forum trolls lol

Heres one story about it from March - It does show pics of the dog after the 'Staffy' attack...

One of the dogs is suspected to be a pit bull type and may be prohibited under the Dangerous Dogs Act. The second is believed to be a Staffordshire bull terrier cross.

more propoganda.

It's no good m8. He wont be told. In fact he'll probably reply saying those labs were staffies in disguise :hihi:

I only linked to this report to prove once again that staffys are a naturally aggressive breed whose automatic reaction to any other animal or human is to attack it. No matter how much staffy owners try to deny it, you can't argue with the facts.

And we all know, all breeds of dogs are naturally aggressive, and their natural reaction is to attack other animals. It has to be bred out, and they have to be trained out of doing so. Badly bred and untrained (or trained to be aggressive) dogs and poor owners are the reason, can't blame the staffys.

Actually now you mention it my 15 year old Staffie would try and maul me on a daily basis. In fact, every time i walked in the house she tried to maul me. I'd have massive red marks on my legs where she was jumping up like a lunatic trying to get at my throat!

Or was she just excited to see me and wanting to play? :suspect:

I'm glad that the staffy owners on this thread find staffy attacks on innocent children so amusing but let's be honest, this forum has no real influence in the wider world and a few bored users on a regional forum aren't going to have any major effect.

However in the wider world, things are stating to happen. Thousands of people have signed a petition to reclaim our public spaces and get these dangerous dogs under control once and for all!

Are you mentally ill ricky? Seriously. No one is laughing at dogs attacking children, they are laughing at you. Your arguments are screwed the moment you add your daily mail link in and stop thinking, which it seems was when you started posting your not so unique brand of insanity on here.

I too thank God that the posters on here have no influence in the real world otherwise people like you might be in positions of power or responsibility.

All this said, please never stop posting. It really brightens my day.

Police seized more than 30 times the number of dogs last year than in 2005, with 80 per cent of them being illegal breeds.

Is the closest the article comes to mentioning any breed of dog rickie. This has nothing to do with Staffies. Stop trolling your own thread!

I see that once again a child has been savaged by a vicious dog and yet again it's the usual breed, a staffordshire bull terrier. Why do staffy apologists always insist that their dog is harmless when it's always the same breed that's savaging innocent children? It has to be time for the government to seriously clamp down on dangerous dogs and ban people from keeping breeds such as staffies as pets!

That is an extremely ignorant comment. It is not always staffys, they just seem to be the ones the media is tartgeting and reporting in the news at the moment.

The majority of staffys I have been around are loving family pets.

ANY dog can be vicious, if owned by the wrong people who teach them to behave in a certain way. And ignorant people like yourself are just playing to the media.
