altus Posted April 27, 2011 Share Posted April 27, 2011 Its not really worth taking to small claims though, if they offered me a credit note id fight it, but then accept if they really wouldnt budge...what you gonna do stage a sit down protest? If the goods are faulty you don't have to accept a credit note. They are likely to offer one as that means you won't take your money elsewhere but they can't insist on one. I've found that, when they offer a credit note, saying "I'll have a refund please" in a firm voice usually makes them realise you won't accept any messing about.
