theBlueLoop Posted April 27, 2011 Share Posted April 27, 2011 want something else to do other than watching the royal wedding?- Why not come along to the Blue Loop Challenge?- this is our alternative option to watching the royal wedding.. Time: 9am for 9.30am run. Where: The Blue Loop Distance: Up to 6 miles, including 2km TT ...Kit Theme: Red, white or blue - all three if you fancy!! Two Groups will be running: Group 1: 6 miles around the Don and Tinsley Canal: The Blue Loop. This will also include a 2km, timed section (TT). Road shoes will be fine. Pace will be easy, with the faster folks looping back. Group 2: Adults and Youngsters: Up to 1hr of mixed activity (run, skip, hop etc etc), including 2km time trial for the oldies and big youngsters!! All along the Don, traffic free. Youngsters must be supervised please. Each runner will have a number which the Blue Loop Marshalls will log and keep their time so that each runner can monitor their progress over time; anyone is welcome to join at anytime. Refreshments will be provided. Runners must register at the Accelerate shop in Attercliffe on the morning of each event.
