lubylou12
It made me proud to be British actually. It is great that Kate is from a different background and seems to be well grounded. She will hold her own with the Royals I think. It was all very well managed and apart from the 2 Princesses who looked really foolish, the whole thing was in good taste.I think that William deserves to have some happiness after what he went through as an adolescent and all that pressure he had on him with Camilla etc. here here, well said:D
manofstrad
People who genuinely have money, dont feel any need to advertise it. Enough said You don't know money people very well do you. How many poor people do you see driving around in a Lambo'?
manofstrad
This comment is wrong on so many levels. The worst kind of addict (drug and/or alcohol) are those that got into that state because they 'wanted to have a good time'. For many, many more it results from an underlying mental health problem and an attempt at self-medication to find oblivion from a tortured existence. It is laughable for you to refer to TPT a a 'poor girl' because she got into her self-inflicted position because she wanted to have a good time. I doubt you would refer to anyone else who did this in the same terms if they were not so 'well-bred'. As for her 'breeding', I believe (correct me if I am wrong) that technically she IS a commoner as she is not a member of the aristocracy (I don't think 'it-girl' is a recognised title?). And uncomfortable as it sounds YOU are technically a commoner too (I am assuming this as you have not yet started a thread about having a title, merely ones boasting that you have loadsa money at every opportunity). Finally, it wasn't down to breeding and strength that enabled her to kick the habit, it was simply that she had enough money to go to a high-class rehab facility which most addicts could simply dream of. Face it LordofStrad you are an unadulterated snob, and if you had a shred of 'breeding' you would not take every opportunity to boast about how much money you had/what car you drive/how nice the place you live in etc. It all smacks of insecurity IMO. Super post, very long, wish I could be bothered to read through it. Did a bit of fast reading and came to the conclusion of jealousy of the rich. msmouse
You don't know money people very well do you. How many poor people do you see driving around in a Lambo'? How many people who drive around in Lambos feel the constant need to advertise the fact on a public forum? As I said before, your insatiable desire to boast about your largesse on here smacks of insecurity, which is more a reason for pity rather than jealousy. p.s. Is this post short enough to cater for your attention deficit?

pattricia
Kim Peek (the real 'Rain Man') could read a book an hour .. Depends how thick the book is. The trick is to read a full paragraph, quickly, instead of each sentence.
