The royal wedding

Recommended Posts

Doesn't the term 'success' denote carrying out some sort of action that is deemed 'successful'? What have the Royal family been successful at that enabled them to be part of the Royal family?

It's really not a question of success. It's a question of tradition and heritage. Once you let it go, you can't reclaim it. Countries like Canada where I live and the U.S. don't have anything like the centuries of lineage and culture that you have there, but people too often don't value it.

Meant success more in general terms, rather than based on royalty, as the 'loony lefties' take offence at anything and anyone who is successful (or who has more money than them !!).

Having said that though, Charles has turned the Duchy of Cornwall into a profit generating business that benefits both the local communities and various charities.....just as an example.

Yes but considering he was given that title (amongst others) and also the land that goes with it wouldn't you expect that he did something like that. Not forgetting that he also make a vast personal income from it.

Many people have lived on family inheritance and wealth, don't let it bother you, people should make the most of what they have got and not bemoan, or be jealous of those more fortunate, that's just the way it is :|
