I think you've been very lucky *_ash_*.

 

I've been going home and away for a similar amount of time and have definitely experienced it. Not every time certainly, the majority of fans are respectful, but in large crowds you always get idiots, particular when they've had a few before the game. I remember one game where when the minute was up everyone in the stadium, including his own fans, booed a 'joker'.

 

I don't know. I've never heard a peep out of any United fans ever. And I've never heard of Wendys making noise either so perhaps Sheffielders are more respectful.

 

And many of the away grounds I've been to were when we were in the lower leagues *cough*, (good times to come again!) and maybe more grassroots football has a better quality of idiot!
