E-Man Groovin Posted May 1, 2011 Share Posted May 1, 2011 Do you own a Djembe or similar, or indeed any kind of percussion instrument? The best part of owning such an instrument is getting together in big groups and improvising rhythms & beats. Many cities have such impromptu jams; in Paris they do it in their parks, in Brighton drumming jams happen on Sundays near the old West Pier, and Peter Gabriel's WOMAD festival is simply one huge drumming jam. It would be great to create a similar thing in Sheffield. There are plenty of locations where this can be done - all that's needed are some drummers. If you are interested please respond.
