Arena Mole
RIDERS LINE UP FOR BRITISH SUPERCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP ANNOUNCED British Motocross stars are lining up to compete in the Future West ACU British Supercross Championship with the announcement of over £40,000 in pro purse! With only 12 weeks left until the start of the season which kicks off at Sheffield's Motorpoint Arena on October 22nd, Future West have been hard at work nailing down a stellar lineup of British Supercross stars to compete in the series. Sheffield will see the return of Supercross after a three year absence from the South Yorkshire venue. The action inside Motorpoint Arena will reach boiling point as riders eagerly anticipate the first drop of the gate. The five round championship will visit Belfast's Odyssey Arena for round 2 on November 19th, Glasgow's Braehead Arena for round 3 on November 26th, London's Wembley Arena for round 4 on January 14th and Birmingham's LG Arena for the final round on February 18th. There is little wonder that this year's series is attracting the best line up of top British pro teams and riders in the 15 year history of the series. Huge purse and huge exposure are just a few of the reasons the boys are amped to kick off the much anticipated winter series. Already confirmed for this year's championship are defending British Supercross Lights champ, Kawasaki mounted Jack Brunell and defending British Supercross champ, Red Bull KTM UK's Tom Church. Both riders are chomping at the bit for another year of fierce indoor competition all in the warm dry comfort of the UK's premiere indoor venues. Last year's hugely successful three round series attracted sell out crowds at Belfast and London and provided some of the best and closest indoor racing ever seen in the UK. With the new pro format changes to British Supercross this year and a new additional combined series points fund on the line things are about to get even hotter. Confirmed for the British Supercross Championship so far: TOM CHURCH - RED BULL KTM - DEFENDING BRITISH SUPERCROSS CHAMP JACK BRUNELL - KAWASAKI - DEFENDING BRITISH SUPERCROSS LIGHTS CHAMP GORDON CROCKARD - RELENTLESS SUZUKI - 2010 BRITISH SUPERCROSS CHAMP MARTIN BARR - PROPPA KTM - BELFAST BRITISH SUPERCROSS WINNER ADAM CHATFIELD - LPE KAWASAKI - BRITISH SUPERCROSS LIGHTS RUNNER UP ASHLEY GREEDY - LPE KAWASAKI - DEFENDING HEAD TO HEAD CHAMPION NEVILLE BRADSHAW - TWO7TWO HONDA - 5TH OVERALL IN 2011 BRITISH SUPERCROSS ELLIOTT BANKS-BROWNE - DB RACING HONDA - CURRENTLY 2ND MAXXIS MX2 Plus many more to be announced.
