May 4th - Kieron Wright - Please join us at La Mama as we welcome for the first time this young and exciting singer/songwriter. Heavily influenced by the Latin Jazz sound Kieron tonight plays acoustic guitar and is joined by jazz vocalist Rachel. May 11th - The Broken Strings - the ever-popular Sheffield brothers perform their take on Flamenco, a sound perfected through recent travels and experiences in Latin America. A real favourite at La Mama. May 18th - Pete Simpson - UK soul icon Pete Simpson performs a special intimate gig at La Mama. Joining the dots between soul, jazz and motown we are honoured to have Pete perform. Not to be missed!!! May 25th - Paul Newman - local singer/guitarist that tonight will be performing Latin & Jazz classics from a repertoire overflowing with Bossa Nova, Cuban Son and songs from the last century. Uplifting, generous and wholesome. Also... May 21st - Royale Kizomba Gala - Come and join the party! Listen to some of the finest Kizomba music in Sheffield, courtesy of DJ Sabroso.
