Good pubs, variety of 'drinking' food on offer, our plan is usually The Abbey, Big Tree, Chantrey, Weatherspoons, and either Pizza Panda or Canton Wok for supper by then we're just about home so no taxi fare either Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sorry can't agree with that, The Abbey and the Chantrey are OK, Big Tree is fine if you are in your 20's. Sheaf at Heeley is, I agree a nice pub, but considering the White Lion is owned by the same chap as The Chantrey it is rubbish. Bar staff didn't know what they had on the pumps.
