iphonelover
Hi Im referring to the song 'baby mine' from the disney film dumbo by 'betty noyes'. On the actual film it seems the lyrics are different to that of all actual lyrics all over the internet. I assumed they shortened and slightly ammended it for the film, but if thats the case cant understand why lyric sites dont show what is ACTUALLY played on the film! Here is the version found on lyric sites (sung by loads of different artists at some point or another): ********** Baby mine, don't you cry Baby mine, dry your eyes Rest your head close to my heart Never to part, baby of mine Little one when you play Don't you mind what you say Let those eyes sparkle and shine Never a tear, baby of mine If they knew sweet little you They'd end up loving you too All those same people who scold you What they'd give just for The right to hold you From your head to your toes You're not much, goodness knows But you're so precious to me Cute as can be, baby of mine ********** This is the ACTUAL version sang on the film ********** Baby mine don't you cry Baby mine dry your eyes Rest your head close to my heart, never to part, Baby of mine Little one when you play Dont you mind what they say Let those eyes sparkle and shine Never a tear, baby of mine From your head to your toes, your not much goodness knows, But your so precious to me, cute as can be, baby of mine ********** Why so different from the second to last verse? Was the first one i showed you sang on the america version or something? Thanks
Ghozer
They only cut one verse out in the film, becUse it would have been too long otherwise! It's no different other than that.. This often happens wIth songs in films due to time limits and constraints.
